Are you a creative minded Digital Designer with skills in both Graphic Design and Video Editing?

Do you have experience and knowledge of the full adobe creative suite, including After Effects and Premier pro?

We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to join a growing marketing team and create both design work and edit videos for marketing campaigns across a full range of digital and some print-based media for a successful beauty and hair business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will have a passion for all things design and video, and dedicated to continuous development of your creative and digital skill sets.

They already create all their own content, in-house and you will be working with the existing content marketing team to support all future content creation, bringing your creative mindset and design skills to flesh out the intricacies of marketing campaigns, tailoring content for website and social media consumption as well as support sales teams and distributors with impactful brochures and training materials.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be influential in the marketing of a growing brand and company whilst building on their graphic design and video editing skill.

The Senior Content Creator role

Create company videos that promote our range of products, including writing scripts, product filming and editing.

Design visuals that are distinctly on brand, including graphics for online and offline use including websites, social platforms, email as well as sales and marketing materials.

Edit product imagery for promotional purposes.

Create animations for website and social use.

Maintain content files and help to organise existing video and graphics files for the team.

Support the team with creating and reviewing copy across design and video work.

Ensuring designs are on brief, within brand guidelines and delivered on-time

Be able to communicate the brand guidelines and tone of voice to staff across the business as well as external stakeholders – at all levels

Managing projects from initial idea to final completion

Liaising with external stakeholders such as distributors, salon network, luxury hotels and TV production management teams to understand business and project needs

Assessing briefs and assigning work to the team as required

Proofing and reviewing designs, videos and documents before they are signed off

Assisting on the creative production side when needed and providing feedback

Creating and implementing monthly content team deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery

Undertake any other duties to support the Marketing department as needed.

The requirements for the Senior Content Creator role

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, In-Design, Audition and Photoshop experience.

Video editing skills and strong knowledge of video and graphic applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Affect Effects.

Knowledge of conceptualising, developing and creating product animation content including storyboarding, small set design, backgrounds, audio and setting motion timing.

Excellent written and communication skills

Ability to effectively proof your own work and that of the team (written English, quality of work, detailing, alignment etc.)

Demonstrate creativity and the ability to introduce and deliver new ideas.

Working to briefs and the ability to develop our brand guidelines further.

Manage, plan and monitor the ongoing company and competitor presence on website and social media channels.

Proficiency in photography, film and equipment handling.

About you

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently and build great rapport with all members of the team and external stakeholders

Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to adapt easily to changing priorities and take responsibility to keep track of changes.

Commercially aware and understand the marketing industry itself. This includes understanding the competitor landscape and what factors ultimately make marketing campaigns successful revenue generators.

Excellent time management and project management skills. You will be highly organised, thorough and be able to meet tight deadlines in an (occasionally) high-pressure environment.

Experience of managing a small team.

About us

£29,000 – £33,000 starting salary depending on experience
