A leading international renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Global QHSE Manager to lead its global Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental agenda. This is a pivotal role within a fast-growing organization that develops, builds, and operates solar, onshore wind, and battery storage projects across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Job description
- As the QHSE Manager you\’ll lead the global QHSE strategy and ensure its practical implementation across all business units.
- You’ll build and maintain an integrated management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) to support consistent global standards.
- As the QHSE Manager you’ll drive risk management, incident investigation, and continuous improvement processes; you’ll prioritize a positive safety culture, introducing engaging initiatives and training across all levels.
- You’ll provide strategic oversight on crisis management, business continuity, and ESG performance, and represent the company in QHSE forums and drive innovation through data and digital tools.
- You\’ll act as HSSE focal point for the UK office, supporting HSSE compliance across other global locations.
- As the QHSE Manager you’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive cultural change, enhance safety performance, and ensure the company remains a benchmark for operational excellence as it scales toward its global net-zero ambitions.
Your profile
- You hold a Master\’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, a related technical discipline or possess equivalent qualifications through education and experience.
- You have proven experience in leading QHSE functions within the renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction, or related industries, as well as in building management systems from the ground up.
- You have a deep understanding of international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and HSE legislation.
- You have a flexible mindset and the ability to thrive in a startup/ scale-up environment.
- You have strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams across geographies and cultures.
- You are a strategic and analytical thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
