This is a pivotal role within a fast-growing organization that develops, builds, and operates solar, onshore wind, and battery storage projects across Europe, North America, and Asia.

A dynamic position with an international scope in the fast-growing Renewable Energy sector, offering both variety and significant responsibility. You will be responsible for defining, executing, and embedding the company’s QHSE strategy worldwide. A hands-on leadership position where strategic thinking meets operational delivery: shaping frameworks, setting global standards, and personally driving initiatives that foster a proactive safety culture and operational excellence. The role spans all stages of the project lifecycle: from development through construction to operations, as well as corporate processes and ESG alignment. You’ll work across multiple regions and cultures, ensuring that high standards are consistently achieved while supporting the company’s commitment to a net-zero future. An opportunity to shape and lead the global QHSE function of a rapidly expanding renewable energy platform. Enjoy a competitive compensation package aligned with your experience, including a company car, bonus schemes, and a comprehensive set of extra-legal benefits. Flexible work-from-home options are available for at least three days per week.

As the QHSE Manager you will lead the global QHSE strategy and ensure its practical implementation across all business units. You’ll build and maintain an integrated management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) to support consistent global standards. You’ll drive risk management, incident investigation, and continuous improvement processes; you’ll prioritize a positive safety culture, introducing engaging initiatives and training across all levels. You’ll provide strategic oversight on crisis management, business continuity, and ESG performance, and represent the company in QHSE forums and drive innovation through data and digital tools. You will act as HSSE focal point for the UK office, supporting HSSE compliance across other global locations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive cultural change, enhance safety performance, and ensure the company remains a benchmark for operational excellence as it scales toward its global net-zero ambitions.

Your profile: You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, a related technical discipline or possess equivalent qualifications through education and experience. You have proven experience in leading QHSE functions within the renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction, or related industries, as well as in building management systems from the ground up. You have a deep understanding of international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and HSE legislation. You have a flexible mindset and the ability to thrive in a startup/scale-up environment. You have strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams across geographies and cultures. You are a strategic and analytical thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
