I am working with a leading renewables company who are looking for an Asset Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of UK renewable energy assets (solar &), driving performance and value for investors.
The Role
- Responsible for the technical and commercial management of operational assets, ensuring optimal performance, strong stakeholder relationships, and compliance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimise asset performance (solar PV) against KPIs.
- Implement revenue optimisation strategies across energy markets (e.g. balancing services, wholesale markets).
- Manage O&M and EPC contractors, ensuring performance and contractual compliance.
- Lead incident resolution, maintenance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee commercial agreements (PPAs, grid, land, and service contracts).
- Identify cost-saving and value enhancement opportunities.
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (investors, lenders, advisors, grid operators).
- Ensure regulatory, ESG, and insurance compliance across assets.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset management.
- Strong mix of technical and commercial understanding.
- Knowledge of UK energy markets and grid services is advantageous.
- Experience managing contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA) and stakeholder relationships.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Additional Information
London-based role with travel to UK sites as required.
