We are recruiting Substation Site Supervisors for contract assignments on high voltage substation construction projects throughout the UK. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will supervise work gangs and subcontractors on the ground, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with the programme. Ideal for candidates with a hands-on substation, HV cabling or electrical installation background.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities, work gangs and subcontractors

Deliver toolbox talks, point-of-work risk assessments and daily briefings

Monitor works against method statements, drawings and technical specifications

Maintain site records, daily diaries and progress returns

Support quality inspections, ITPs and snagging

Escalate safety, quality and programme issues to the Site Manager
Experience & Qualifications

Supervisory experience on substation, HV or electrical infrastructure projects

SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work

Sound understanding of safe systems of work and permit procedures

Ability to read and interpret construction and electrical drawings
-
Trade background in electrical, mechanical or civils is advantageous
