TGRC are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale battery energy storage projects across the UK and Europe. This role covers full lifecycle project oversight, including contracting, logistics, production, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety. Prior experience with EPC contractors or renewable energy developers is highly valued.
Location: Remote within the UK, with regular travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end project delivery for utility-scale energy storage projects, from contract initiation to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate feasibility studies, project planning, and team formation to ensure all project objectives are met.
- Manage internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project goals.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, quality, and performance metrics.
- Identify and resolve technical, logistical, and operational challenges.
- Support business development by providing technical insight on new energy storage opportunities.
- 3+ years of experience managing energy storage or renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or grid-scale storage), with 5+ years of general project management experience.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and intercultural communication skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, solve complex problems, and drive projects in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
