We are seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to join a growing consultancy within the renewable energy and sustainability sector on a maternity cover basis. This role has a strong leadership focus, offering the opportunity to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team while delivering strategic value to clients.
You will take ownership of procurement delivery across multiple projects, ensuring best‑in‑class processes, commercial outcomes, and alignment with client sustainability objectives. Working remotely within a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, driving team performance, and embedding continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight
- Oversee end‑to‑end procurement activity across energy, utilities, and renewable services
- Set and drive procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational and client sustainability goals
