An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Asset Manager to join a growing operations team, overseeing the management and performance of major transmission assets that sit at the heart of the UK's energy transition.

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Commercially aware and comfortable managing contractors and O&M activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of high-voltage transmission assets (onshore & offshore)
  • Manage O&M contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and asset performance
  • Lead on operational planning, safety management, and response to alarms/events
  • Maximise asset availability and contribute to asset/maintenance strategy development
  • Provide technical and operational input into future transmission projects and bids

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in the UK electricity supply industry, offshore wind, or related power infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety rules, Health & Safety legislation, and asset management practices
  • Current HV SAP authorisation
  • Experience managing critical electrical assets and outsourced O&M contracts
  • Safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH)
