We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in London. This role will support the Finance Manager in overseeing accounting functions, managing relationships with external auditors, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Perform day-to-day accounting, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly financial reports for shareholders
- Assist with account consolidation and liaise with BDO on accounting queries
- Support data management in SAP (experience preferred but not essential)
- Potentially manage a small team or guide junior staff
Who You Are:
- Strong accounting and financial management experience, ideally with a practice background (audit, consultancy)
- Previous experience managing small teams and delivering small to medium-sized engagements
- Comfortable handling accounting queries from auditors and working with SAP or similar systems
