We are recruiting a Solar Project Manager for contract assignments on utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK. You will lead site delivery from enabling works and piling through module installation, DC and AC electrical works, inverter stations, MV reticulation and grid connection. This role suits a project manager with a strong renewable energy construction background.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects to cost, programme and quality targets
- Manage the construction programme, budget, risk register and change control
- Coordinate civils, piling, mounting structures, module installation and electrical works
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and module and inverter logistics
- Oversee the grid connection interface with the DNO and support G99 compliance
- Drive commissioning, energisation, PAC and handover
Experience & Qualifications
- Project management experience on utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering or construction management
- SMSTS, CSCS and relevant electrical safety training
- Understanding of DC and AC solar systems and UK grid connection requirements
- Contract and commercial management experience
