The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading global supplier of high voltage power transformers who have project experience in over 70 countries. Due to securing significant substation contracts with National Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager who will focus on Project Delivery in their expanding UK team. The role will include project managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, installation, and maintenance of their power transformers.
Responsibilities:
- Scoping, scheduling, and controlling the project during the entire project life cycle after taking over from the sales team.
- Leading the communication with the relevant stakeholders around the project including the subcontracting parties, the HQ sales and commercial team, the Factory team, and the customers.
- Identifying issues and risks of the project.
- Building and maintaining a good relationship with the customers and collecting the voices of customers.
- Controlling the documents – design, quality, progress report, and all the contractual project deliverables.
- Supporting tendering activities.
Your Profile:
- Electrical Engineering degree, or another relevant degree.
- Proven experience in a project management role for National Grid, Principal Contractors organisation – preferably specialising in power transformer.
