We are looking for an HSE Advisor to lead, develop, and assure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance across a growing portfolio of wind, solar, and energy storage assets. This is a permanent, remote UK-based role with occasional travel to operational sites.
What you’ll do:
- Lead HSE strategy, policy development, and compliance across renewable energy assets.
- Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments, including client-facing and third-party audits.
- Provide expert guidance to operational teams and represent the organisation in client meetings.
- Develop, monitor, and report on HSE KPIs, contractor management, PPE, and training programs.
- Drive incident and accident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the organisation and deliver internal training sessions.
- Monitor national and international HSE legislation and ensure compliance.
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH qualification (National General Certificate or Diploma) or working towards, and membership of IOSH (Technical or Graduate).
- Minimum 3 years’ HSE experience in wind, solar, or energy storage operations.
- Knowledge of UK HSE legislation, including WTSR & CDM, with familiarity of EU and international standards a plus.
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
