This role is a core overseas business development position focusing on European green data center and AI computing power park projects. This role will be responsible for full-cycle project development, land acquisition, resource docking and stakeholder relationship management across the UK, Spain and Germany. You will independently drive project site selection, policy approval, grid resource coordination and low-carbon new energy solution landing, focus on optimizing data center PUE and renewable energy utilization rate, and cooperate with global cloud vendors, IDC operators and AI computing enterprises to deliver high-standard green, low-carbon and energy-efficient data center projects. This position requires cross-cultural business capabilities and local industry resources to support the company’s rapid layout and sustainable development in the European smart energy and computing power infrastructure market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle overseas data center project development & delivery: Take charge of end-to-end development, planning, landing and full progress control of green data center projects in European local markets; formulate phased implementation plans, track milestone delivery, resolve schedule bottlenecks, and guarantee steady, efficient project advancement.
  • Local core resource acquisition & integrated coordination: Independently acquire and coordinate all critical project resources for green data center construction: land resources, government planning approvals, environmental impact assessment (EIA), carbon emission evaluation, power consumption quota, grid access indicators, grid connection permits, renewable energy matching indicators, etc. Strictly align project design, construction and operation with local EU energy policies, carbon neutrality regulations and sustainable development standards.
  • Multi-stakeholder relationship building & long-term operation: Establish and sustain deep cooperative ties with local municipal government bureaus, energy regulatory authorities, grid operators, land management departments, environmental agencies; maintain regular communication with data center owners, IDC operators, telecom carriers, AI computing enterprises, EPC contractors, power equipment suppliers and energy service providers. Continuously expand high-quality industry partner networks and maintain stable long-term business partnerships.
  • Customer demand mining & customized new energy solution delivery: Adopt customer-centric business thinking to dig into core demands of cloud vendors, AI computing clients and IDC operators. Cooperate with internal technical, product and engineering teams to design tailored green power supply, energy storage and photovoltaic matching solutions. Prioritize optimization of core indicators, including PUE, carbon emission intensity and renewable energy consumption ratio to fully satisfy clients’ low-carbon, energy-saving and cost-control targets.

Job Requirements

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in Electrical Engineering, Energy System & Management, Computer Science, Data Center Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, New Energy Power Generation or other related disciplines.
  • Industry Working Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on full-cycle experience in data center project development, investment, construction or operation management; or 3+ years of new energy ground power station/energy storage project development experience. Keep up to date with European IDC, AI computing power and renewable energy industry trends, policies and market competition landscape.
  • Local Industrial Resource Accumulation: Possess mature local resource channels covering government planning bureaus, energy regulators and power grid companies; fully master the whole approval workflow of European data center construction projects. Candidates with existing cooperative resources of top cloud vendors (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), global IDC operators (Equinix, Telehouse, NTT, etc.), telecom carriers or large AI computing enterprises will be given priority.
  • Comprehensive Professional Competence: Must complete development workflow of large-scale data center projects: site selection, land acquisition, policy filing, due diligence, feasibility study report compilation, bidding negotiation, construction approval and grid connection commissioning; clear understanding of core data center technical metrics, especially PUE control schemes, low-carbon power supply and energy-saving transformation paths; strong internal cross-department resource integration capability, able to drive cross-team collaboration to push project landing; outstanding risk identification, early warning and emergency response ability for policy, power supply, land and market risks in overseas projects.
  • Cross-cultural Communication & Language Ability: Fluent business English for daily negotiation, document writing and technical communication; proficiency in local mainstream languages (Spanish/German) is a bonus. Familiar with European cross-cultural business logic, negotiation etiquette and cooperation models, capable of independently coordinating international teams and communicating with global clients.
