I’m working with a privately backed renewable energy investment platform looking to add an Associate to its London-based investment team. The business is focused on European solar, wind and BESS assets and is active across both direct asset-level investment and broader platform / fund-style activity.

They are looking for someone with strong financial modelling, investment analysis and transaction experience, ideally combined with exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance or M&A. This is not a purely model-led role. The team is particularly interested in people who understand, or are genuinely curious about, the technical and commercial drivers behind renewable energy assets — including areas such as grid, PPAs, EPC, supply chain, BESS and asset delivery.

The role will likely cover:

  • financial modelling and investment analysis;
  • transaction execution;
  • renewable energy opportunity assessment;
  • technical-commercial diligence;
  • working closely with technical and engineering teams;
  • supporting asset-level and platform-level investment activity;
  • helping build investment processes within a growing platform.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5–8 years’ experience;
  • strong modelling and analytical capability;
  • experience across renewables, infrastructure, project finance, M&A or investment;
  • commercial agility and technical curiosity;
  • the ability to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

The business is offering a strong compensation package, including bonus and carry participation.
