We’re partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy business seeking an experienced Commercial Manager – PPAs to support the commercial growth of a rapidly expanding clean energy portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong UK energy market knowledge and experience negotiating PPAs, route-to-market agreements, and energy trading arrangements across renewable and flexible generation assets.
You’ll play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, managing offtake relationships, and helping optimise revenues across a diverse portfolio including solar, BESS, and other energy infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Leading the negotiation and execution of:
- Corporate PPAs
- Utility PPAs
- Route-to-market agreements
- Optimisation and balancing contracts
- Building and managing relationships with:
- Utilities
- Energy suppliers
- Traders
- Corporate offtakers
- Market intermediaries
- Supporting commercial strategy across renewable generation and energy storage assets
- Analysing market opportunities, pricing structures, risk positions, and revenue strategies
- Working closely with development, finance, legal, and technical teams to deliver commercially robust agreements
- Monitoring UK energy market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging revenue opportunities
About You

- Experience within renewable energy, utilities, energy trading, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of UK power markets and PPA structures
- Commercial negotiation experience within energy markets
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
