The Green Recruitment Company is a global specialist recruitment business focused on the renewable energy, energy transition and green technology markets. Founded in 2010, we now operate internationally across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Africa, supporting some of the world's leading organisations across renewable energy and the wider green economy.

We are continuing to evolve our marketing function and are now looking for a Campaigns & Marketing Operations Lead to join our London team.

The Opportunity

This is a newly shaped role sitting at the intersection of marketing campaigns, events, business development, CRM, automation and go-to-market execution. We want someone who can take a commercial priority — a new market, target client group, conference, service line or strategic account — and turn it into a structured, measurable marketing campaign. You will work closely with our Group Chief Marketing Officer, Brand & Content Manager and global sales teams to help us reach the right clients, create more meaningful commercial conversations and build repeatable marketing activity that supports business growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns: You will plan and deliver campaigns across priority sectors, markets, services and client groups. This could include:
    • Account-based marketing campaigns.
    • Targeted email and outbound programmes.
    • Market-entry and new-service campaigns.
    • Client nurture journeys.
    • Landing pages and campaign journeys.
    • Consultant-led business development activation.
    • Retargeting and selective paid media.
    • Campaign testing, optimisation and reporting.
  • Events & Conferences: You will own the marketing workflow around priority events, including:
    • Pre-event target account campaigns.
    • Client meeting outreach.
    • Event landing pages and communications.
    • Consultant activation.
    • Lead capture.
    • Post-event follow-up.
    • Tracking opportunities and commercial outcomes.
  • Account-Based Marketing & Outbound: You will work closely with our consultants and leadership teams to build campaigns around defined target clients and strategic accounts.
  • CRM, Marketing Technology & Automation: Responsibilities will include:
    • Building campaign audiences and segments.
    • Creating nurture and follow-up workflows.
    • Improving campaign automation.
    • Connecting campaign activity with consultant follow-up.
    • Improving lead source and attribution data.
    • Developing repeatable campaign processes.
    • Identifying activities that can be automated or simplified.
  • Lead Management & Attribution: You will help:
    • Identify genuine client opportunities from marketing activity.
    • Route enquiries to the right consultants quickly.
    • Improve campaign and lead tracking.
    • Understand which channels and activities are creating commercial value.
    • Build clearer reporting around meetings, terms, jobs, proposals and revenue opportunities.
  • Paid Media: You may run targeted LinkedIn, Google, retargeting or other paid campaigns where there is a clear audience and commercial objective.

Who We're Looking For

You will probably be a commercially minded B2B marketer who enjoys both thinking and doing. We are particularly interested in people with experience across areas such as:

  • B2B campaign marketing.
  • Email marketing.
  • CRM and marketing automation.
  • Events and conferences.
  • Account-based marketing.
  • Lead generation.
  • Landing pages and conversion journeys.
  • Paid digital marketing.
  • Campaign analytics and reporting.
  • Sales and marketing alignment.

Experience within recruitment, professional services or another commercially driven B2B environment would be useful, but it is not essential.

You'll Be a Good Fit If You Are

  • Commercially curious.
  • Highly organised.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Confident dealing with salespeople and senior stakeholders.
  • Interested in marketing technology and automation.
  • Data-aware without becoming obsessed with vanity metrics.
  • Comfortable experimenting and learning from results.
  • Happy being hands-on.
  • Prepared to challenge activity that doesn't have a clear purpose.
  • Interested in developing into a broader marketing leadership role.

What We Offer

  • £36,000–£42,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Up to 15% annual bonus.
  • Additional incentive for qualifying marketing-originated opportunities that generate placements.
  • Professional development support, including Chartered Institute of Marketing membership where appropriate.
  • Exposure to an international business operating across some of the fastest-growing areas of the global energy transition.
  • The opportunity to work across multiple markets, brands and marketing disciplines.
  • A clear progression pathway toward Campaigns & Marketing Operations Manager as the role and function develop.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a traditional digital marketing vacancy. We want to understand whether our marketing is helping us:

  • Reach the right companies.
  • Engage the right decision-makers.
  • Enter new markets.
  • Strengthen strategic accounts.
  • Generate client conversations.
  • Create opportunities for our recruitment teams.

If you enjoy connecting marketing activity with real commercial outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
