This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with a varied client base and being part of a supportive, office based environment. The firm are open to considering candidates operating at Tax Senior or Tax Manager level, depending on experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering a range of compliance focused tax services. The role will involve regular client interaction and the opportunity to take ownership of your work, while being supported by an experienced and approachable team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns
- Handling capital gains tax and inheritance tax compliance matters
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing practical advice
- Liaising with HMRC where required
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Currently working at Tax Senior or Tax Manager level
- CTA qualified is desirable, but candidates studying or qualified through ATT, ACA or ACCA will also be considered
- Strong prior tax experience will be valued over formal qualifications where demonstrated.
- Confident managing your own portfolio and communicating directly with clients
- A team focused approach and a positive attitude
