This client works with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small owner‑managed businesses to larger SMEs, providing a mix of accounts, tax, and advisory services. About the Role
This is a varied and hands‑on position where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accountancy and tax services, and, if you have experience, supporting audit engagements. Key responsibilities include:
- Working on audit engagements from planning to completion, and providing support to juniors where necessary
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparing and submitting personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Managing client bookkeeping and reconciliations where required
- Advising clients on tax planning and compliance matters
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide professional guidance
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent client service

Requirements Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional experience
- Solid experience preparing accounts and handling tax compliance

- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar
