TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Edenbridge with the recruitment of a Senior Practice Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, well established practice with a strong local reputation. The firm is flexible regarding the level of appointment and will shape the position around the successful candidate’s experience, strengths and career aspirations.
Working in a general practice capacity, you will provide a broad range of services to a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Managing a portfolio of owner managed business clients
- Acting as a key point of contact and providing general business advice
- Supporting and reviewing junior team members, depending on experience
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be comfortable managing a varied workload. You may be ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified, AAT qualified or qualified by experience. The firm is open to candidates seeking either a part time or full time position and can offer flexibility around working hours.
