Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Operator, you will:
- Operate a variety of heavy plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, or other equipment relevant to the role.
- Safely and efficiently carry out tasks such as loading, digging, lifting, and transporting materials on-site.
- Perform daily checks and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe operation of machinery at all times.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members to coordinate operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to site-specific requirements and company policies.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Relevant CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certifications.
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy plant machinery in construction or related industries.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of site health and safety regulations and best practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
