As part of our growing team, we’re looking for reliable and professional HGV Drivers to ensure the safe and timely transportation of plant machinery to various client sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport plant machinery, equipment, and materials to and from client sites across the UK.
  • Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of machinery and equipment on the HGV.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, vehicle logs, and inspection reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and site teams.
  • Assist with the coordination of delivery times and locations to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Licences: Valid and relevant HGV driving licence (Category C or above).
  • Experience: Proven experience driving HGVs, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry. Experience in transporting plant machinery and equipment is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations. Ability to securely load, transport, and unload heavy plant machinery and equipment. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Professional, reliable, and customer-focused. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and clients.
