This role is employed directly by Hannah Spencer MP, not the Green Party of England and Wales. Staff are paid in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

About This Role: Green MP Hannah Spencer is looking for additional capacity in her team to help her deliver for constituents locally and in Parliament. Responsible for helping across both the local and Westminster teams, you will be someone who thrives on having lots to do, has excellent organisational and communication skills, can adapt to changing plans and remains calm under pressure. You should have a strong understanding of the main issues facing constituents and a commitment to making sure Hannah is responsive, effective and proactive in her work with residents and stakeholders. Hannah is keen to receive applications from diverse backgrounds and especially from candidates that are not on a traditional pathway into working in politics. Open to flexible part-time applications.

  • Local & Westminster: Support both the constituency and Parliamentary teams across a varied, fast-moving workload.
  • Constituent Focus: Help ensure Hannah is responsive, effective and proactive for residents and stakeholders.
  • Organised & Calm: Bring excellent organisational and communication skills, staying calm under pressure.
