About This Role
The Green Party of England and Wales is recruiting a Campaign Organiser to help deliver an ambitious and successful campaign programme across Folkestone and Hythe district in preparation for the Local Elections in May 2027.
Working closely with the South East Field Organiser, local campaign teams, volunteers, candidates and elected representatives, you will play a key role in building campaign capacity, coordinating volunteers and supporting the delivery of effective local election campaigns. Through strong organisation, relationship building and practical campaign support, the role will help turn local enthusiasm into well-planned, high-impact campaigning activity.
We welcome applications from individuals with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Previous employment within party politics is not essential. We recognise that opportunities to gain professional political campaigning experience are limited, and we are particularly keen to hear from people from backgrounds that remain underrepresented in politics.

Maintain accurate campaign records, databases, calendars, webpages and volunteer systems.
Stakeholder Relations
Build effective relationships with the Local Party Executive, councillors, candidates and staff.
This post is 21 hours per week, so the full time equivalent salary of £29,858 to £32,192 is paid pro rata at £17,914 to £19,315 per annum. It is a fixed term contract to 11 June 2027 and includes work outside of typical office hours according to campaign needs.
