We are looking for a highly skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Green Park Village Primary Academy.
Position: Permanent, 16 hours a week term time, plus 5 full Inset days. Working pattern will be confirmed but will include Fridays.
Responsibilities- Provide children with exceptional learning opportunities within a caring environment.
- Work as part of a team and demonstrate a can-do attitude to support all children of varying needs and abilities.
- Support children with specific SEND needs, using their bespoke provision linked to EHCPs.
- Deliver learning sessions in class, linked to lesson intentions and targets within Individual Support Plans.
- Provide targeted interventions for children who need extra support.
- Facilitate play activities for children during lunchtime.
- Assist teachers and the SENDCo with classroom and learning tasks.
- Experience working with children and adapting learning in a safe, stimulating, inclusive setting.
- Highly motivated with high expectations and a passion for knowledge.
- Strong organisational skills, proactive and positive attitude.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and achieving excellence for all pupils.
