Power The Fight empowers communities to end violence affecting young people. Launched in 2019, Power The Fight is an award‑winning charity creating long‑term solutions for sustainable change and acting as a link between communities and policymakers. Most of its work is with young people, families, schools, local authorities, faith groups and community organisations seeking support to engage with issues related to violence affecting young people.
Violence affecting young people remains a serious national issue. In England and Wales, 205 homicides using a knife or other sharp instrument were recorded in the year ending March 2025. That this was lower than the previous year serves to emphasise the vital role played by sustained, community‑led and preventative responses.
Power The Fight is now seeking a Head of Finance to work alongside the CEO, Deputy CEO and Head of HR, leading the organisation’s finance function and helping to ensure strong financial management, compliance and long‑term sustainability. This is a key leadership role, supporting the charity’s continued growth and impact.
