Reporting and Communication Structure:
The Account Director (AD) reports into the Head of Client Services (HCS). Performance and progression are reviewed by the HCS. The AD must keep the HCS up to date on the progress and health of the accounts, projects, and individual client relationships. Overall account issues or concerns should be escalated to the HCS or any other relevant department leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and grow strong relationships with our clients by maintaining day-to-day communications.
- Receive and review incoming briefs from clients.
- Lead the response to the briefs to ensure the highest quality output.
- Demonstrate leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring team members are assigned work appropriate to their level and experience and keeping them motivated and challenged.
- Participate in senior client and internal meetings to provide oversight and guidance where required.
- Develop senior client and industry understanding of individual objectives and challenges within their business.
- Demonstrate industry and brand knowledge and their core competitor sets.
- Pro-actively keep abreast of latest industry trends and developments and share knowledge with the team and senior clients.
- Apply global focused strategies to improve performance and ROI of the business.
- Work closely with Head of Client Services and other department leads to optimise any revenue opportunities within the agency.
- Provide mentorship to the team to maximise growth, and harness strength and opportunities for each team member.
- Identify and apply best practices for internal and external SOP.
Business Development and Commercial Performance:
- Pro-actively identify and pitch potential upsell opportunities for existing and new clients.
- Full accountability for achieving the set handling targets for existing clients, potential upsell and new business.
- Strategise and plan how to reach the set handling targets.
- Ensure client satisfaction and sustain high quality work, measurable via client review forms.
Financial:
- Oversee the financial performance of client projects to ensure 4MF targets are achieved.
- Report to the HCS APAC and finance team on financial health of our clients.
- Lead client conversations related to finance and or any additional or unexpected expenditures.
- Support on business forecasting within the 4MF and report to HCS APAC on a weekly basis.
- Lead project efficiencies to ensure business is profitable and support developing optimisation plans where required.
Performance Review and Personal Development:
- Develop successful client relationships, measured through client feedback and NPS.
- Leading and contributing to contract renewals and growth of client accounts and projects.
- Work cohesively within the GPC Group Partnership.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Being a positive and solution driven team player.
- Demonstrate the core values of Greenpark.
- Achievement of handling targets set in the 4MF.
