About Green Orbit

Green Orbit is a UK-based startup rethinking sustainable commerce. We’re combining innovation, circular principles, and smart technology to tackle waste and inefficiency across consumer and public-sector markets. Backed by a mission-driven founding team and CEMET, University of South Wales, we\’re preparing for early-stage pilots with the goal of long-term impact.

The Role – Investor Director

We are seeking two experienced investor-directors to join our board and support the strategic direction of the business.

You will:

  • Invest £20k in our pre-seed round (equity negotiable)
  • Provide board-level guidance through quarterly meetings and collaboration with founders
  • Support fundraising by leveraging your network to unlock capital and strategic partners
  • Champion the mission in relevant investor and innovation communities

You’ll Bring:

  • Early-stage investment experience, ideally in tech, sustainability, circular economy, or public services
  • Board or non-executive director experience, or equivalent strategic advisory exposure
  • A clear vision for scalable, mission-led ventures
  • A strong UK network of angels, VCs, or ecosystem partners
