Green & Orange Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Student Recruitment Consultant to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students, engaging with them to understand their aspirations and guiding them toward suitable college and university pathways. You will support students throughout the recruitment journey—from initial inquiry to successful enrolment—ensuring a seamless, supportive, and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement: Contact and follow up with prospective students via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Consultation: Assess students’ goals, career ambitions, and circumstances to provide tailored educational advice.
- Application Support: Guide students through application procedures, document collection, and funding/finance options.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent follow-up with leads, ensuring progress through each stage of recruitment.
- Relationship Building: Develop trust with students through empathetic, solution-focused engagement.
- Database Management: Accurately record and update student interactions and progress within CRM systems.
- Collaboration: Work with admissions, marketing, and mentoring teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Reporting: Track recruitment activity, conversion metrics, and student feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging students over the phone.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative, supportive approach.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed recruitment or sales targets.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
- Resilient, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Additional language skills such as Romanian, Ukrainian, or Slovakian are highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in student recruitment, education consultancy, sales, or phone-based customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of the UK higher education system and funding options is desirable.
- Experience working with adult or mature learners is an advantage.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified student consultations completed.
- Conversion rate from lead → applicant → enrolled student.
- Timeliness and accuracy of CRM updates and follow-ups.
- Student satisfaction and feedback scores.
