The postholder, under the direction and supervision of their line manager, will provide a professional, welcoming, and efficient reception, clerical, and administrative support service to the Academy.

As the first point of contact for many visitors, the postholder will play a key role in creating a positive and friendly environment, ensuring that all pupils, parents, staff, visitors, and stakeholders feel valued, supported, and well-informed

You will:

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with all people/situations at all levels, building good relationships with parents, pupils and other stakeholders
  • Have experience of managing sensitive and confidential information, an awareness of safeguarding and GDPR
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise workloads, responding to changing priorities, remaining calm under pressure
  • Have excellent administration skills and proven experience using databases and Microsoft applications
  • Enjoy being part of a small team in a school environment and have a great sense of humour!
  • Experience and knowledge of an education environment and the use of Arbor or other pupil management systems, is desirable.
