Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Business Development with a proven track record in the CRO or life sciences services sector. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our global client base, and leading the business development team to achieve aggressive commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's business development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new client opportunities in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at global and regional life sciences organizations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing business development team.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and scientific teams to create compelling client proposals and strategic solutions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and strategic forums.

Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or related life sciences services company.
- Proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar contracts and expanding client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory frameworks, and the CRO ecosystem.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams in a high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) preferred.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
