The Opportunity

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days changing the colour of a PowerPoint presentation or posting the occasional "Happy Friday" graphic.

You'll take ownership of our social media presence, create engaging content, develop our personal brands and help turn Green Life Science into one of the most recognisable recruitment companies in our industry.

We want someone who understands that the best marketing doesn't always look like marketing.

Sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's controversial. Sometimes it's educational. But it should always make people pay attention.

You'll have the freedom to challenge ideas, experiment with new approaches and bring your own personality to the role.

What You'll Be Doing

Social Media & Viral Content

• Develop and execute a bold social media strategy across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Create original, engaging and highly shareable content designed to generate significant organic reach.
• Produce short-form videos, reels, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and entertaining recruitment-related content.
• Identify emerging trends and turn them into relevant content before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon.
• Develop creative campaigns that get people talking about Green Life Science.
• Build our audience, increase engagement and turn social media attention into genuine commercial opportunities.

Brand Development & Personal Branding

• Take ownership of Green Life Science's brand identity and online presence.
• Build the personal brands of our CEO, Managing Director and key consultants.
• Showcase our company culture, achievements, personalities, events and success stories.
• Help position Green Life Science as a recognised authority in life sciences recruitment.
• Create engaging content around our specialist markets, including CROs, CDMOs, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and clinical research.

Content Creation & Marketing

• Film, edit and produce professional-quality videos.
• Create compelling graphics, campaigns, advertisements and social media posts.
• Capture content at networking lunches, conferences, company events and team incentives.
• Develop marketing campaigns that attract both clients and candidates.
• Analyse performance data and continuously improve our content strategy.
• Support website content, employer branding and wider marketing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Creativity is essential. Ambition is non-negotiable.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in social media marketing, digital content creation or brand development.
• Understands what makes content go viral and how to maximise organic reach.
• Is confident filming, editing and producing high-quality video content.
• Has experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
• Understands LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube algorithms and audience behaviour.
• Can write engaging, witty and attention-grabbing copy.
• Is commercially minded and understands that marketing should ultimately help grow a business.
• Is confident enough to challenge the CEO when they have a better idea!
• Has the energy and personality to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Is proactive, independent and doesn't need someone telling them what to post every morning.

Experience within recruitment or life sciences would be advantageous, but it's certainly not essential.

We'd rather hire someone with exceptional creativity and ambition than someone with ten years of experience producing boring content.
