An exciting opportunity for a PhD level scientist looking to transition from the bench into a client-facing commercial role within a fast growing global biotech organisation supporting cutting edge preclinical research and antibody discovery programs. No previous BD experience required - full training provided!

Must have:

  • Strong hands on in vivo / mouse model experience
  • Background in immunology, oncology, pharmacology or related biology field
  • Interest in science driven business development and partnerships
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Mandarin fluency preferred

You will work closely with internal scientific teams and external biotech/pharma partners to support the growth of preclinical discovery and mouse model service offerings. The role will involve scientific discussions with clients, identifying new partnership opportunities, supporting proposals and presentations, and helping position cutting edge in vivo and antibody discovery capabilities to the wider market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical clients
  • Support scientific and commercial discussions around preclinical and mouse model services
  • Learn and communicate the company’s in vivo pharmacology, antibody discovery, and platform capabilities
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and networking events across the Cambridge biotech ecosystem
  • Collaborate with internal scientific teams to understand client needs and support tailored solutions
