Day to day, in this role, you can enjoy:
- Use your mastery knowledge of cooking to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
- Preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children.
- Confidently managing the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping for your kitchen.
- Ensuring the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with the Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards.
- Mentoring and guiding a kitchen hand in a professional environment, to deliver the highest quality of food and service.
- Providing thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Educators to our littlest learners.
- Collaborate with our National Nutritional Program Partner, with a focus on environmentally sustainable practices within our eco-friendly settings.

About You:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or above.
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Current VIC Working with Children's Check.
- Current VIC Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates.
- Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012).
- National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months.
- The availability to work from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
