As the Assistant Director, your role is key to building a positive, warm, fun, and welcoming culture where our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded across everything we do! You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

Day to day, you can:

  • Work alongside our National Learning, Research and Development Partners to provide the support and guidance to your teams across all things Pedagogy, including areas like Inclusion Support, Wellbeing and Sustainability

About You:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director (preferred, not essential)
  • Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
  • Current WA Working with Children's Check
  • Current WA Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
  • Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
  • Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
