Are you a natural born leader looking to support and guide a dedicated team of educators in a Centre Leadership role?

As the Assistant Director of Green Leaves Early Learning Newport, your role is key in building a positive, warm, fun and welcoming culture where our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded across all that we do! You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team around best practice.
Day to day, you can:

Ideally, we’d love for you to hold:
- A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
- A current State relevant Working with Children\’s Check
- A current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- A current Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain upon commencement).
- Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government. Completion of 1 of the following courses will ensure compliance; CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator
- Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Storypark (or similar equivalent platforms)
- National Police Clearance
- Proda ID
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)
