Due to the retirement of our successful headteacher, the Academy Council and Trust Board of the DND Learning Trust are looking for a committed, enthusiastic Headteacher who will continue to drive forwards our nurturing and caring, happy school. Green Lane C of E Primary School is firmly rooted in its Christian Distinctiveness. Responsibilities / RequirementsWe are looking for a headteacher who is:
- Enthusiastic, has a secure vision, drive, adaptability and the ability to keep perspective.
- Advocate a sound educational philosophy, with the ability to translate into practice.
- Ability to secure the loyalty and confidence of pupils, staff, parents, those who govern and others.
- Ability to create an exceptional positive ethos within the organisation which is recognised by staff, pupils, parents, those who govern and the wider community.
- Commitment to their own personal development.
- Be a role model for pupils and staff.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people / vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to appropriate vetting procedures including an enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service which will require you to disclose details of any unspent and spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment process.
