Who we are: Green Home Systems (GHS) were established in 2014 as a family business and have grown over the last decade to become one of Scotland’s leading whole-house retrofit installers. Headquartered in Irvine, Ayrshire and operating exclusively in Scotland, our vision is to create a zero-carbon, fuel-wealthy world. We install energy-efficient measures in commercial and domestic properties, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charger and all major and minor Insulation, helping our customers reduce bills, save energy and contribute to Scotland’s net-zero ambitions.

We’re growing fast and our private domestic and commercial pipeline is expanding, we need a sharp, driven Energy Consultant to help us convert more opportunities into projects – We believe in rewarding results.

The Opportunity: This is a consultative sales role with real earning potentials and joining a growing business. We generate leads in several ways, digital media, SEO, social media, partnerships and referrals – The main job is to convert opportunities into signed projects. You’ll be advising customers on the right mix of renewables and insulation measures for their home or their business and advising grant funding to support. We work through several Scottish funding opportunities such as Home Energy Scotland, Business Energy Scotland, CARES, local grant funding and domestic and commercial finance packages. You’ll work across primarily in B2C domestic inbound opportunities and supporting B2B commercial opportunities which means variety of projects, high value opportunities and chance to build your expertise across the full GHS product range.

The role:

  • Respond to inbound leads promptly and professionally, converting enquiries into quotations and quotations into projects.
  • Consult customers on the right retrofit measures for their property, advising and upselling where appropriate and always focused on genuine, sustainable energy savings.
  • Guide customers through available funding routes: Home Energy Scotland, Business Energy Scotland, CARES, local authority grant schemes and finance offerings.
  • Manage your pipeline efficiently through our CRM (HubSpot), keeping every lead tracked, updated and progressed within agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with our surveying, projects and operations teams to deliver a smooth, joined-up customer experience.
  • Build your knowledge of the full GHS product range - ASHPs, Solar PV, Battery Storage, all Insulation measures and EV chargers as well as Windows.
