About the Education Business Unit

Green Gourmet’s Education Business Unit is growing, and the commercial team is expanding as part of a broader plan to significantly grow the business over the next few years. As the team scales, better structure is needed around how information, systems and shared resources are managed. This role will sit at the centre of that shift, helping create more consistency, better organisation and stronger ways of working across the commercial function.

The Education business sits within Green Gourmet Group, an ambitious, privately led food business with a clear growth agenda. We combine commercial discipline with entrepreneurial agility. Green Gourmet Group is a certified B Corp business, focused on combining strong commercial performance with responsible food production and a positive impact on people and communities.

We expect high standards, support one another, and take pride in delivering results together. Our culture is built around accountability, resilience and continuous improvement, while recognising that long-term performance depends on the wellbeing and energy of our people.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to help build and shape how a growing commercial team operates from the inside. Systems are still evolving, which creates real scope to bring structure to messy environments, improve how information is organised and maintained, and remove inefficiencies that distract senior people from higher-value work. It is also an opportunity to embed AI into practical day-to-day workflows, helping turn raw information into structured, reusable knowledge. The role carries ownership of systems, information flow, knowledge organisation and continuous improvement — not just administrative responsibility.

What You Will Do

  • Own how commercial data, information and shared resources are structured and maintained.
  • Improve the organisation of files, documents and team resources so information is accurate, accessible and scalable.
  • Build and evolve an AI-supported knowledge base using transcripts, notes, updates and other internal inputs.
  • Act as the central co-ordination point for commercial administration across the team.
  • Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies or gaps in systems and workflows, and improve them in practical ways.
  • Create and maintain clear standards for how information and processes are managed.
  • Co-ordinate industry events and external opportunities, including planning, logistics and follow-through.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • High accuracy and completeness of data across commercial systems.
  • Strong adoption and consistent use of systems across the team.
  • Measurable reduction in administrative workload for senior team members.
  • Better organised, more accessible and more usable commercial knowledge.
  • Fewer errors, less duplication and fewer gaps in information.
  • Improved consistency in how the commercial team operates day to day.

Experience Required

  • Experience in a co-ordination, operations, systems or administrative role.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, CRM systems or shared digital tools.
  • Experience supporting a commercial or sales team.
  • Experience improving processes, systems or information management.
  • Confidence using technology as part of day-to-day work.

Capabilities Required

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to bring structure to an evolving environment.
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented.
  • Comfortable using AI and digital tools in practical ways.
  • Able to manage multiple moving parts consistently and reliably.
  • A clear and structured communicator.

Cultural Fit

  • Takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Enjoys organising, structuring and improving how things work.
  • Comfortable in a scaling business where systems are still maturing.
  • Reliable, consistent and focused on delivery.
  • Comfortable using AI as part of modern business operations.

Non-Negotiables

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort working with systems, data and technology, including AI.
  • Evidence of improving or organising processes or systems.
  • Reliability and consistency in execution.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI tools in a practical work setting.
  • Experience supporting commercial or sales teams.
  • Experience setting up or improving systems and processes.

Our Ambition

We are building a commercial function that is more structured, more intelligent and more scalable — combining strong people, clear systems and practical AI usage to support long-term growth.
