As an Associate within our Project Finance & M&A team, you will play a key role in the execution of complex advisory mandates, helping clients structure, finance, and close transactions that contribute directly to the global energy transition. Based in London, you will work closely with colleagues across Europe, Africa, and Asia, gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects and investors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting and leading key workstreams throughout transaction processes, including developing and managing financial models, valuations, and cash flow analyses for renewable energy and energy transition projects.
  • Supporting debt raising, project finance, and M&A transactions from origination through execution.
  • Preparing high-quality client and investor materials, including information memoranda, financial analyses, investment presentations, and process documentation.
  • Coordinating and reviewing due diligence workstreams alongside technical, legal, tax, insurance, and market advisors.
  • Working closely with Project Managers to develop optimal transaction structures and deliver successful outcomes for clients.
  • Contributing market research and sector analysis across renewable energy and broader energy transition markets.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping identify new opportunities.
  • Mentoring analysts and interns, where relevant.
  • Contributing to a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and international team environment.

Experience & Education:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Finance, M&A, Infrastructure Finance, Investment Banking, or Financial Advisory.
  • Previous exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy transition sectors is highly desirable.

  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
