We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and highly organised Social Sales & Events Manager to join our team! If you have a passion for event sales, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create unforgettable experiences, this role is for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive bookings for social and weekend events, including weddings, parties, and private functions. Proactively seek new leads and partnerships to grow revenue.
  • Build strong connections with clients, guiding them through the event planning process and ensuring an exceptional experience from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to create engaging campaigns and promotions to increase event awareness and bookings. Maintain a strong social media presence to showcase our events.
  • Support the team with event planning as needed, ensuring smooth execution and top-tier service.
  • Meet with potential clients, provide tailored event solutions, and manage pricing and proposals.
  • Oversee relationships with external suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination for catering, entertainment, and décor.
  • Supervise event setup and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
  • Gather client feedback, encourage repeat business, and continuously improve our offerings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in event sales, hospitality, or a related role, with a proven track record of driving bookings and revenue.
  • Ability to proactively generate leads, close deals, and upsell services.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to create seamless event experiences.
  • Ability to develop innovative event concepts and sales strategies to attract clients.
  • Experience in promoting events through digital channels, including social media and email marketing.
  • Ability to juggle multiple events at different stages of planning while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience with CRM systems, booking platforms, or event planning software is a plus.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends as required to oversee events and support the team.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences for clients.
