We’re seeking a dynamic Floor Supervisor to be part of our team at the Rotunda Bar and Restaurant in Kings Place.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping an exceptional dining experience, ensuring smooth service, and leading a team in a lively and welcoming environment.

As Floor Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting the management team, guiding the front‑of‑house team, and ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Lead the front‑of‑house team, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service.
  • Provide hands‑on support during busy service periods, maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Oversee floor management, ensuring efficient table service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement service standards and improve operations.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and ensuring all FOH areas are well‑prepared.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor, Head Waiter, or similar leadership role in a high‑volume restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive and hands‑on approach, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
