We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Café Manager to join our team at Interval Café, Rose Court.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a busy workplace café, leading a passionate team, delivering outstanding hospitality, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and maintaining high standards in both the café and concert bar.
  • Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging staff development and exceptional performance.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, coordinating with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and specialty coffee products.
  • Monitor and uphold health and safety standards, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Support the Café Manager in achieving financial targets, including cost control, budgeting, and maximizing sales opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bursting at the seams with passion, energy and above all, personality
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar Assistant Management role
  • A natural problem solver
  • Comfortable with managing a team of people
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tasks.
