We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie! You’ll bring your vibrant personality and brilliant skills to our flagship Rotunda Restaurant featuring on-site butchery and bakery, and a live fire over embers and coal kitchen. Green and Fortune is an independent, owner-led business with a passion for people and hospitality, and a focus for seasonal products in line with our farm-to-fork philosophy. We're looking for someone who embraces the same values! Rotunda is part of something bigger in Kings Place, the ideal candidate will be excited to offer guidance and support to the events kitchen, too! What makes you the Chef de Partie?

  • Your Section: Take ownership of your section, from preparation and mise en place through to service, keeping everything organised and ready to go.
  • Food: Prepare and cook dishes with care, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and consistency.
  • People: Support Demi and Commis Chefs on your section, sharing your knowledge and helping the kitchen work together.
  • Standards: Keep on top of food safety, cleanliness, stock rotation and waste, making sure your section is left ready for the next service.

What you’ll bring as Chef de Partie?

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen, with the confidence to take responsibility for your own section.
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety, with a genuine interest in quality ingredients.
  • An organised, hands-on approach and the ability to work well as part of a team during busy services.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and share your skills with junior chefs.
