Events Supervisor – Open Day
Join us for our London Museum Open Day!
Apply for our Events Supervisor role and, if shortlisted, you’ll be invited to our Open Day at our Head Office on 28 September.
We’re looking for an Events Supervisor to join the Hospitality & Events team at London Museum, opening its doors on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, bringing together thousands of years of London’s history through world-class events, experiences and hospitality.
We are looking for an Events Supervisor who loves seeing an event come together, enjoys leading from the floor and knows that great service starts long before the first guest arrives. Someone who takes pride in the details, brings energy to a team and can move confidently between event spaces, hospitality rooms and refreshment points while keeping the guest experience at the centre of everything.
If you’re excited by the idea of helping deliver events in one of London’s most anticipated new cultural destinations, we’d love to hear from you.
At Green and Fortune, we take pride of the connections we make through the moments and memories we create.
What makes you the Events Supervisor?
Events. Take the lead on the setup, delivery and close of events, making sure spaces are ready, service runs to plan and every detail reflects the event brief.
People. Lead by example, organising the team, delegating responsibilities and coaching colleagues to deliver confident, professional and friendly service.
Guest Experience. Be a visible presence throughout events, anticipating guests’ needs and maintaining high standards across event spaces, hospitality rooms and tea and coffee points.
Service Delivery. Keep an eye on presentation, replenishment and the overall flow of service, adapting quickly as events develop and stepping into service wherever needed.
Collaboration. Work closely with the kitchen, technical and wider events teams, keeping communication flowing and ensuring every part of the event comes together seamlessly.
What you’ll bring as Events Supervisor?
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role within events, banqueting or a busy events venue, with the confidence to take responsibility for an event or service area.
- Confidence leading teams through event setup, live service and breakdown, delegating tasks and maintaining standards throughout.
- A strong understanding of event hospitality, including food and drink service, room setup, refreshment points and guest-facing service.
- A hands-on, organised and adaptable approach, able to follow event briefs, respond to changing requirements and work confidently with kitchen, technical and operational teams.
