We have an amazing opportunity for a welcoming and friendly Events Supervisor to join our Green & Fortune team. This is a Monday to Friday role.
THE PERSON AND ROLE
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the events business and serve as the first point of contact on event days.
- Support the management in preparing and setting up buffets and/or other special food service tables/stations.
- Ensure that food is always handled, transported, and stored in accordance with food safety and Health and Safety standards.
- Meet and greet organisers in a friendly and polite manner while providing a high level of service at all times.
- Acknowledge and respond to all guest requests and inquiries, taking responsibility or escalating to the Events Ops Manager or Assistant Events Ops Manager as appropriate.
- Supervise all service and buffet stations, ensuring they are neat, clean, and efficiently managed during service.
- Regularly patrol assigned areas and ensure staff duties are completed.
- Provide feedback and handover on all events, including any relevant information for the next shift, such as issues, challenges, positive outcomes, and changes in business.
- Assist with the training and supervising of new starters to ensure they are fully prepared for their roles.
- Follow all due diligence procedures regarding food safety, health and safety, accident reporting, fire alarms, cleaning schedules, stock control, pest control, and general maintenance.
