This is an exceptional opportunity to play a defining role in the launch of one of London’s most anticipated cultural destinations. Opening in November 2026, London Museum will become a landmark venue for extraordinary experiences, world-class hospitality, and unforgettable events in the heart of the capital. As Events Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of establishing and shaping the museum’s catering and events operation from the ground up. This is far more than a sales role — it is an opportunity to help build the function, develop lasting client relationships, shape standards and play a key role in creating a commercially successful and operationally exceptional events business.

Working closely with the Head of Event Sales and wider operational teams, you will take ownership of the catering sales journey from enquiry through to handover, helping define the guest experience while embedding ways of working that will support long-term success. This role is ideal for an ambitious and commercially minded events professional who thrives on building relationships, influencing standards and being part of something from the very beginning.

  • Building the Function & Driving Sales
    • Play a key role in establishing the catering and events sales function, helping shape processes, standards and ways of working ahead of launch.
    • Build strong and lasting relationships with corporate clients, partners and stakeholders, delivering an exceptional client journey from enquiry through to event delivery.
    • Develop bespoke catering proposals, menus and event packages that reflect the ambition of both London Museum and Green & Fortune.
    • Drive commercial success through strong enquiry conversion, strategic upselling and effective yield management.
  • Creating Exceptional Events & Setting Standards
    • Manage events from first enquiry through planning and operational handover, ensuring every detail is carefully considered and flawlessly executed.
    • Work closely with the London Museum sales team, operations, kitchen and front-of-house teams to establish exceptional service standards and seamless event delivery.
    • Conduct venue tours, tastings and planning meetings, helping position London Museum as one of London’s leading cultural and hospitality destinations.
    • Contribute ideas, market insight and best practice to support continuous improvement and long-term commercial growth.
  • Commercial Performance & Relationship Management
    • Support ambitious revenue targets through strong pipeline management and commercially focused decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate event documentation, CRM records, contracts and reporting to build a strong and organised sales function.
    • Build trusted relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support outstanding guest experiences.
    • Act as an ambassador for both London Museum and Green & Fortune, helping shape reputation, service culture and long-term success.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering or events sales within a premium or high‑profile environment.
  • A commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys creating opportunities and growing partnerships.
  • Someone excited by the opportunity to launch a new operation and shape standards from the ground up.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

For someone looking to make their mark in London’s catering and events industry, this is a rare opportunity to help build something truly special from the very beginning.
