Join our dynamic Green & Fortune Head Office team as an Event Sales Manager. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional to support our busy events department in delivering exceptional experiences. If you have strong event planning skills, proven sales ability, outstanding client care, and a passion for hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
This role is predominantly based at our offices in Kings Place, with regular involvement in industry and networking events outside normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Act as a key point of contact for incoming event enquiries, managing the process from initial brief to event day handover.
- Create bespoke proposals, issue contracts and invoices, and ensure all documentation is delivered accurately and on time.
- Plan and coordinate events, including menu tastings, table plans, function sheets, and operational handovers.
- Support the wider sales and events team in delivering the annual sales and marketing plan and growing key client accounts.
- Work collaboratively with the chef, operations, and Kings Place Music Foundation teams to create innovative and seamless event experiences.
- Conduct site visits and tastings, confidently upselling menus, wines, and packages to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Maintain accurate event and financial records in the CRM system, providing weekly reports for management and accounts.
- Represent Green & Fortune at industry events and networking opportunities to promote the venues and develop client relationships.
- Support with hosting duties at Rotunda during busy periods as part of the wider team.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an events or sales role, ideally within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with proficiency in CRM systems and a solid understanding of accounts and finance.
- A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach with enthusiasm for teamwork and client service.
