Overview

Audio Visual Customer Support (onsite, various clients).

Mon to Fri: 8:30am – 5:30pm (flexi). Main office: Woodley.

This is a field service role involving travel to client sites within London and the Southern Counties, with occasional national coverage.

Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in planning, arranging and attending service visits, providing remote technical support, updating equipment, producing service reports, and keeping service records up to date while responding to service call outs.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in an audio-visual service engineer role.
  • Experience with commercial audio visual and videoconferencing systems.
  • Experience with fault-finding audio-visual systems.
  • UK driving licence.
  • To be within an hour’s commute to the Woodley/Twyford area.
  • Willingness to undergo SC Clearance or have existing SC Clearance.
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, QSC switching and control systems.
  • Knowledge of videoconferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet and Cisco.
  • Knowledge and experience of Barco Click Share.
  • Excellent PC skills with Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator and various audio DSP software including Biamp and QSC.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents including system schematics.
  • Professional and courteous interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail with a good memory.
