We are looking for a service engineer with the necessary skill and experience to carry out preventative and remedial maintenance on a wide range of audio visual and videoconferencing installations installed in commercial and Government buildings. This is a field service role involving travel to client sites within London and the Southern Counties, but please note there may be occasional national coverage.

Must haves for Audio Visual Support Engineer:

  • Proven track record in an audio-visual service engineer role
  • Experienced with commercial audio visual and videoconferencing systems
  • Experience with fault-finding audio-visual systems
  • UK Driving licence
  • To be no more than an hour’s commute to the Woodley/Twyford area
  • Have SC Clearance OR be prepared to be subjected to SC Clearance vetting

Your duties as Audio Visual Support Engineer:

  • Planning, arranging and attending service visits
  • Providing remote technical support
  • Updating equipment and producing service reports
  • Keeping the service records updated
  • Responding to service call outs

Your knowledge and background:

  • Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, QSC switching and control systems
  • Knowledge of videoconferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet and Cisco
  • Knowledge and experience of Barco ClickShare
  • Excellent PC skills with experience of Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator and various audio DSP software programs including Biamp and QSC
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including system schematics
  • Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Effective time management and attention to detail with a good memory
