We are looking for an Audio Visual Installation Engineer with the necessary skill and experience to carry out installation, preventative and remedial maintenance on a wide range of audio visual and videoconferencing equipment in commercial and Government buildings. This is a field service role involving travel to client sites within London and the Southern Counties, but please note there may be occasional national coverage.
Must haves for Audio Visual Installation Engineer:
- Proven track record in an audio-visual service engineer role
- Experienced with commercial audio visual and videoconferencing systems
- UK Driving licence
- To be no more than an hour’s commute to the Woodley/Twyford area
- Have SC Clearance OR be prepared to be subjected to SC Clearance vetting
Your knowledge and background:
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, QSC switching and control systems
- Knowledge of videoconferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet and Cisco
- Knowledge and experience of Barco ClickShare
- Excellent PC skills with experience of Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator and various audio DSP software programs including Biamp and QSC
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including system schematics
- Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
- Effective time management and attention to detail with a good memory
